Budapest showroom opening

The Haworth showroom in Budapest has recently relocated to Graphisoft Park, a prestigious new research and business park in North Budapest. It is located right on the riverfront of the Danube, surrounded by green spaces and lakes. Haworth Hungary invited clients to an inspiring event which resembled a return to nature within Budapest. An elegant picnic was organised in front of the showroom while inside, guests could test out the new Haworth products. For those interested in the product story and manufacturing details there was an entertaining quiz.

Szilárd Máté, branch manager of Haworth Hungary, welcomed the guests and officially opened the showroom. Visitors were then taken to visit the national monument buildings of the old gas factory (founded in 1913) which is in the neighbourhood. Imre Grof, the director of the Urban Development Plc. presented the past and the future of the factory's old towers. To the delight of the attending architects and engineers Mr. Grof allowed them to enter the building that houses the Diesel-generator which provided electricity to half of Budapest during the First World War.

The event was a great success, with a strong turn out and many positive comments about the new space.
